What’s ahead in the next decade in agriculture?

With the digital dial turned to 2021, the January issue of THE SCOOP focused on the trends most likely to impact agriculture. Farmobile’s Steve Cubbage, VP of Services, took a turn “at the bat” with some prognostications of his own in the column, The Decade Ahead: Societal Trends Will Leave Their Mark On Agriculture.
He noted that two new outside shifts — beyond agriculture’s control — will affect the ag-food supply chain in the year ahead: 1) a new administration and 2) a Covid-weary consumer population, now well-versed in making meals at home, and highly interested in how food is sourced.
